Macau government have implemented policies on supporting local creative works and fostering new generation of brand design, in order to promote local brands to an international level, strengthen the product images and  competitiveness of local SMEs as well. In hopes of conforming to these policies, Macao International Brand Enterprise Commercial Association (MIBA) organized the 3^rd Macao-wide College Brand Packaging Design Competition. The purpose of this competition was to boost the development of policy implementation, enterprise and youth design to a profitable level of three sides.

We openly invited 10 local enterprises and 57 groups of students from 6 local colleges to join the competition this year. The competitive topics, which were offered and presented by the representatives from the enterprises, were  their brand histories and concepts. Each group of students had to choose one topic and design a new package for the product regarding its feature and the related information.
