Congratulations to the centennial anniversary of the Communist Party of China and the 72nd anniversary the People's Republic of China! Looking back on the past 100 years, China has risen step by step and has soared to become the second largest economy in the world. Against the backdrop of a COVID-19 epidemic ravaging the world, China has strongly recovered and become the only major economy in the world to achieve positive economic growth.

 

Since its return, Macao has firmly adhered to the "one country" principle and made good use of the advantages of "two systems", to build into "world’s leading tourism and leisure center" and a "service platform for business cooperation between China and Portuguese-speaking countries". It has active in participating in the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the "One Belt and One Road" initiative, accelerated its integration into the overall development of the nation, and also strived to enhance its comprehensive strength. In the process of joint development with Macao, we are proud to witness the growing strength and prosperity of our motherland, and at the same time, we feel a sense of mission. As a member of Macao and China, we should be devoted to the development of country.

 

Recalling the 12 years of MIBA has gone through, we have always remembered and fulfilled our founding purpose, remained true to our original aspirations, in line with the directions of SAR government, actively participating in the construction of governance, and jointly promoting Macao’s tourism, culture and economy. In the future, we dare not slack off and will continue to play a bridging role by working with our members to build platform for brand development, optimize business environment, facilitate cultural and creative industries, and support the incubation new brands. Leveraging our resource advantages, we will cultivate young talents and young brands, work together with all sectors of society to create a new era.
